C. An Original Photograph

This is a photograph I took from the balcony of my apartment in the morning. I have never seen a perfectly clear blue sky ever until I came here to Sydney, there is no such thing as clear blue sky in the city I was raised, in Jakarta, as the pollution rate is extremely high. Blue sky is always beautiful for me which is why blue is my only favorite color, it brings the feeling of freedom. It was such an amazing moment to be able to see a flawless blue sky.

B. A Great Piece of Architecture

This is Guggenheim Museum Bilbao in Spain by Frank Gehry, one of my favourite architects in deconstructivism. The reason why I think this building is great is because it's amazing to see how Gehry's creativity and technology work together to create something sculptural and almost impossible to make at that time in 1997. This building is extraordinary as I'm so amazed how someone can ever thought of creating something different and free as this, out of the normal if it is compared to other buildings at that time. I love the way Gehry created the building by sculpting it organically, the curves and the waves also express the freedom in architecture in the present days, which means that in this modern world, we can be as imaginative and as free as possible to design something, as technology will help and bring them all to be real.

A. Creative Work

This is a 3D landscape model I did for my UNSW Foundation project in Uniprep Jakarta, in which the aim of the project was to explore 3D form and to create a design for an unconventional and imaginative outdoor space with any two design principles. So the principles I'm using for my own design is movement and pattern. The movement is shown clearly by the wavy features, and the pattern itself is indirectly created by the movement of some random wavy lines. The trees are shaped that way to support the pattern of the main features.
